United Road Services, Inc. is seeking a Carrier Relations Specialist in Plymouth, MI, on-site. You will recruit and onboard third-party carriers, handle inbound/outbound calls, and foster long-term carrier partnerships.

You will monitor performance, resolve issues, manage documentation, and support compliance initiatives daily. The role emphasizes strong communication, organized work habits, and the ability to work independently within a team.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
• Experience in transportation, logistics, or carrier recruitment is a plus.
• Strong communicator with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Team player who can work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Carrier recruiting and onboarding: outreach to recruit third-party carriers and onboard them.
• Answer inbound calls, resolve questions and complaints, and follow through.
• Develop relationships with carrier capacity to support operations.
• Monitor carrier performance and assist with provider communications.
• Update carrier profiles, renew certificates, and track insurance/documentation.
• Support compliance and carrier relations projects as needed.
