Job summary

RJ Logistics is seeking a Carrier Sales professional in Michigan to build strategic carrier partnerships and source capacity for customer freight across North America. You will negotiate competitive rates and maintain strong relationships with carriers, drivers, customers, and internal teams.

You will monitor shipments from pickup to delivery, identify challenges, and develop timely solutions while leveraging TMS technology to document loads and ensure service excellence.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and market conditions.

Responsibilities

• Build Strategic Carrier Partnerships with trucking carriers, dispatchers, and fleet managers.
• Source carrier capacity for customer freight across multiple transportation modes and negotiate competitive rates.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by monitoring shipments and proactively solving issues.
• Leverage Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and data to document loads and manage freight activity.
• Collaborate with Operations, Customer Sales, and Leadership to meet customer expectations and drive improvement.
