Job Title: Carrier Development Representative

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain a high-quality network of asset-based flatbed, step deck, and specialized carriers
• Develop strong, long-term relationships with carrier partners to secure consistent capacity
• Negotiate competitive rates while balancing service, reliability, and margin goals
• Monitor carrier performance, safety ratings, insurance compliance, and service quality
• Collaborate with operations and sales teams to match carrier capacity with customer demand
• Identify market trends, capacity shifts, and pricing opportunities

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in freight brokerage, carrier sales, and carrier development with open deck trailers
• Excellent communicator and negotiator with strong interpersonal skills; able to build rapport with carriers and internal teams
• Growth mindset: eager to learn, open to feedback, and continuously looking to improve your skills and industry knowledge
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

Compensation Details: This position offers a competitive base salary + bonus.
