Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 1–2 years in transport/logistics.
• Ability to work across multiple shifts including nights/weekends.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Accurate data processing and analytical decision making.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with carriers/IC drivers.
• Develop knowledge to optimize operations and profitability via KPIs.
• Create and present customer-specific reporting and financial analysis.
• Manage inventory, assets, and assignments to balance equipment.
• Perform payroll, budget management, invoicing, and reporting.
• Coordinate yard duties and maintenance scheduling.
• Act as liaison between carriers, customers, and staff to resolve issues.
• Maintain safety culture by complying with regulations.
• Assign loads, plan routes, monitor freight, and handle exceptions.
