Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. is seeking a Capacity Procurement Representative in Lowell, Arkansas. In this role, you will negotiate rates to ensure optimal margins while marketing the Carrier360 platform to enhance carrier efficiency and visibility. You will establish a carrier base and be responsible for timely freight coverage.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED and up to one year of transportation or logistics experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with up to 1 year experience in transportation, logistics, or related field.
• Ability to work across multiple shifts including nights and weekends if needed.
• Experience in customer service or account management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate purchase rates with carriers to meet revenue goals.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and carriers.
• Manage freight in transit and communicate updates to ensure timely delivery.
• Utilize the Carrier360 Platform to manage shipments efficiently.
