J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. is seeking a Capacity Coordinator II in Davie, FL to coordinate a mid-sized group of carriers and independent drivers. You will plan routes, monitor freight, and ensure safe, on-time delivery while supporting payroll, budgets, and reporting.

Role requires flexibility across day, night, and weekend shifts, with strong communication and multitasking abilities. Schedule is 1000-1900, with benefits available for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 2-3 years in transportation/logistics, admin, or equivalent military experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work across multiple shifts including nights and weekends if needed.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build/maintain customer relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and handling multiple priorities with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a mid-sized group of carriers/IC drivers to ensure safe, on-time service.
• Plan, route, monitor freight, and optimize profitability using KPIs.
• Prepare and present customer-specific reports and financial analyses.
• Assist payroll, budgets, invoicing, and other administrative duties.
• Train team members and contribute to special efficiency projects.
