The role supports customers with updates and uses both internal assets and external resources to deliver reliable service. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years in related roles, strong communication, and the ability to multitask and learn new software, with a bachelor’s degree in logistics or related field

Qualifications

• Ability to work various schedules, including overnight and weekend shifts.
• 1-2 years of working experience in related roles (sales, call center, or customer experience) or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain/logistics, business administration, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and quickly learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with carriers for purchase rates to meet revenue and profit margin goals and foster carrier relationships.
• Manage freight in transit by obtaining carrier updates and providing ETA updates to customers.
• Tender loads and optimize service using Carrier 360 platform to review rate submissions and respond to inquiries.
• Proactively communicate service failures to internal teams to minimize disruptions and maintain on-time service.
• Trace load updates and assist internal customers with issues on loads; monitor freight in transit and location requests.
• Perform clerical duties such as data entry, recordkeeping, and file maintenance; compile data.
• Receive documentation to validate and issue fuel advances to drivers.
