Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is expanding its construction crews. Earn $21.00 to $23.00 per hour based on experience, with a $2,000 first-year bonus and an additional $500 quarterly bonus during the first year.

Join a nationwide leader with more than a century in post-frame construction. Under the guidance of your crew foreman, you will learn safety procedures, read plans, and build according to specifications, including digging footings, framing, siding and roofing, and installing windows and doors

Qualifications

• Building construction (post-frame), carpentry, or framing experience preferred (on the job or in school).
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred; Class A CDL is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Learn, keep current with and apply safety and construction procedures, methods, and standards.
• Read, understand and build according to construction plans.
• Utilize tools and equipment to construct buildings safely and efficiently.
• Complete tasks such as digging footings, framing walls/roofs, installing windows/doors, and applying siding and roofing materials.
• Work with crew members in a safe, organized environment with dignity and respect.
