Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is expanding its construction crews and employee owners. The company is a leader in post-frame construction with 120+ years in business and over 100 centers nationwide.

New crew members receive a $2000 bonus in the first year, plus $500 quarterly bonuses during the first year. Salary is $21.00 to $23.00 per hour, paid weekly. Under the crew foreman you will learn, read plans, operate tools, and construct foundations, framing, siding and roofing, with up to 25% travel

Qualifications

• Building construction, post-frame, carpentry or framing experience preferred.
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Available to work 9-10 hours during peak construction season.

Responsibilities

• Learn safety procedures and construction standards.
• Read and build according to plans.
• Operate tools and equipment safely.
• Complete tasks including footings, framing, windows/doors, siding and roofing.
