Morton Buildings, Inc. is expanding our construction crews and employee owners. We are a leader in post-frame construction with 120+ years in business and 100+ centers nationwide.

Earn $22.00 to $24.00 per hour with weekly pay and bonuses during your first year. Under the guidance of your crew foreman you will read plans, use various tools to construct buildings, and perform tasks such as digging footings, framing, installing windows and doors, and applying siding/roofing materials.

Qualifications

• Post-frame construction or carpentry experience preferred.
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Available to work 9–10 hours during peak construction season.
• Ability to take direction and produce quality work.
• Commitment to safety processes and proper tool use.
• Ability to operate safety equipment safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures.
• Read, understand and build from construction plans.
• Use tools and equipment to safely construct buildings.
• Dig and install footings, frame walls and roofs, install windows/doors.
• Install siding and roofing materials (hi-rib steel, shingles, wood).
• Work with crew to maintain a safe, productive environment.
