This role involves learning safety procedures, reading plans, and building post-frame structures across sites with travel up to 20%. New crew members receive a $2,000 first-year bonus and a $500 quarterly retention bonus during the first year, with additional incentives and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Building construction (post-frame), carpentry or framing experience preferred.
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Available to work 9-10 hours during peak construction season.
• Ability to take direction and produce quality work.
• Follow safety processes and operate tools safely.
• Capable of lifting 50 lb, up to 100 lb occasionally.
• Travel up to 20% with possible overnight trips.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures.
• Read and build according to construction plans.
• Use tools and equipment to construct buildings safely.
• Frame walls/roofs, install windows and doors, apply siding/roofing.
• Coordinate with crew to maintain a safe, productive environment.
