Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is expanding its construction crews and offering employee ownership through our ESOP.

New hires earn $22.00 to $24.00 per hour, paid weekly, with a $2000 first-year bonus plus a $500 quarterly bonus during the first year. Under the guidance of your crew foreman you will learn safety procedures, read and build from construction plans, use tools and equipment to construct buildings, and perform tasks from footings to roofing.

Qualifications

• Experience in building construction or framing preferred.
• Willingness to participate in a training program.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Ability to meet peak-season hours and travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton safety procedures.
• Read, understand and build per construction plans.
• Use tools and equipment to construct buildings.
• Dig, footings, framing, doors/windows, siding and roofing tasks.
• Collaborate with crew to maintain a safe, productive environment.
