Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is expanding our construction crews and employee owners. We have over 120 years of experience in post-frame construction and nationwide service.

New crew members receive a $2000 bonus in the first year, plus a $500 quarterly bonus during the first year, with payroll weekly. Salary is $21.00 to $23.00 per hour based on experience. Under the guidance of your crew foreman you will learn procedures, read and build from construction plans, use tools, and construct buildings

Qualifications

• Experience in post-frame construction or carpentry preferred.
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Available to work 9-10 hours during peak construction season.
• Ability to take direction and produce quality work safely.

Responsibilities

• Learn, keep current with and apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures.
• Read, understand and build according to construction plans.
• Utilize tools and equipment to construct buildings safely and efficiently.
• Frame walls and roof structures, install doors/windows and siding/roofing materials.
• Work with crew in a safe, organized environment with respect for others.
