Corewell Health’s Progressive Care Unit 3E in Troy, MI, is hiring a full-time observer nurse aide to provide patient care per plan under RN direction. Duties include safe patient transport, documentation in the EMR, and offering constant observation when required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous hospital or nursing home experience preferred.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support required within 30 days of hire.
• Current CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care according to the plan of care under RN direction.
• Safe transport of patients via wheelchair or stretcher.
• Provide Observer services for patients requiring constant observation (in person or via remote video).
• Perform general receptionist and clerical duties to facilitate unit operations.
• Document care provided in the electronic medical record (EMR).
