Job summary

Corewell Health’s Troy Hospital is seeking a dedicated nurse aide to join the Progressive Care Unit Neuro 4S in a full-time day shift. You will deliver patient-centered care under the supervision of a registered nurse, perform routine tasks, and contribute to patient safety and comfort in a busy 35-bed unit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous hospital or nursing home experience preferred.
• American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support required within 30 days of hire.
• Current CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients according to the plan of care, unit routine, and hospital policy under RN direction.
• Safely transport patients via wheelchair or stretcher, dispatch services, and document services.
• Act as an Observer for patients requiring constant observation, including remote video monitoring.
• Perform general receptionist and clerical duties to support unit function and document care in the EMR.
