Job summary

Ocean Network Express (ONE) seeks a Supervisory professional to lead the Cargo Management Team in Richmond, VA, directing day-to-day operations, staff supervision, and cross-functional collaboration. The role emphasizes policy development, problem resolution, and performance management to drive profitability and customer satisfaction.

The position requires 3+ years in a related function, a Bachelor’s degree (preferred), and a willingness to work in a hybrid model with in-office and remote days.

Qualifications

• Leadership and training experience required.
• Strong data handling and analytical reasoning skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Knowledge of rail, vessel, terminal operations and customs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute Cargo Management Team goals and functions.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, yield management, EQC and operations for problem resolution.
• Develop policies and procedures to optimize account plans, customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Supervise Analysts and agents; manage staffing with HR; deliver performance appraisals.
• Provide guidance on day-to-day functions, reporting and business development activities.
• Ensure team engagement and cross-functional collaboration to improve service levels and efficiency.
