Job summary

Ocean Network Express (ONE) seeks a Vessel Close-Out Leader in Rutherford, NJ to drive successful VCO execution from the Rutherford office. You will supervise the VCO team, coordinate with operations, ensure shipments meet all specs, and support policy development to improve service levels.

The role requires 2+ years of supervisory experience, a Bachelor's degree, and strong leadership and communication abilities. This hybrid role involves 3 days in the office and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience preferred; 2+ years of function-related experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of reefer, dangerous goods (DG), breakbulk shipments, and over-dimensional cargo.

Responsibilities

• Execute Vessel Close-Out (VCO) processes and support policy implementation.
• Supervise VCO staff and provide coaching.
• Coordinate with operations and divisions to load vessels and meet all requirements.
• Ensure containers meet all necessary requirements and load vessels successfully.
• Maintain cross-functional communication across the organization.
• Be available for extended hours and business travel as required.
