Job summary

Griswold Home Care is hiring compassionate caregivers to support clients in Southwest Raleigh, Cary, Apex, and Morrisville. We offer full-time and part-time roles with flexible schedules, paid training, and ongoing education to help you grow.

Pay ranges from $16.50 to $25.00 per hour with weekly pay. You’ll work with a variety of clients and shifts, with 1 to 12 hours per shift, and 24/7 office support to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Current TB test or willingness to obtain one.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Caregiving experience preferred; CNA/PCA a plus.
• Evening and weekend availability helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and supervision to clients.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting.
• Prepare meals for clients.
• Give medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility and transfers.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Provide transportation or run errands.
• Help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home.
• Communicate updates to Griswold office team.

Caregiver Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and supervision

Requirements

• Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and the Griswold team
• Caregiving experience is preferred
• CNA or PCA certification is a plus but not required
• Evening and weekend availability is especially helpful
