Job summary

Griswold Home Care is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers for 12-hour day and overnight shifts throughout Southwest Raleigh, Cary, Apex, and Morrisville. We value safety, comfort, and independence for our clients and offer paid training and ongoing education in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Current TB test or willingness to obtain one.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• CNA or PCA certification is a plus but not required.
• Able to remain attentive and engaged during a 12-hour shift.
• Caregiving experience is preferred.
• Consistent day, night, and/or weekend availability is especially helpful.

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and supervision.
• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other personal care needs.
• Assisting with mobility and transfers.
• Preparing meals.
• Providing medication reminders.
• Performing light housekeeping.
• Providing transportation or assistance with errands.
• Monitoring clients throughout day or overnight shifts.
• Helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent.
• Communicating updates and concerns to the Griswold office team.

Griswold Home Care is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers for 12-hour day and overnight shifts throughout Southwest Raleigh, Cary, Apex, and Morrisville.

Caregiver Responsibilities

Responsibilities vary depending on each client’s needs and may include:

• Providing companionship and supervision
