Job summary

Greenwich House in Brooklyn, NY seeks a dynamic Case Aide to support the Caregiver Program. This role involves administrative tasks, outreach, and pre-screening calls to help connect clients with Caregiver Services.

The position requires a BS W or related BA (or associate degree with relevant experience), strong communication, and basic IT skills. This is a full-time, hybrid role with benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• BSW or related BA in human services or an associate’s degree with one year’s experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be computer literate, including ability to learn and use program-specific software.
• Good writing/recording skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Knowledge of Spanish, Russian helpful.
• May require heavy lifting including setting up tables, moving chairs, and other room set-ups.

Responsibilities

• Assist Program Director with tracking and documenting respite and supplemental services.
• Follows up with clients regarding receipt of supplemental services.
• Conducts follow up calls with clients to ensure connection with program.
• Attends in-service training and staff meetings.
• Assists with program outreach as assigned.
• Explains and interprets the agency's programs and types of assistance available to callers; provides information and assistance.
• Assembles, collates and records statistical data.
• Regular and ongoing communication with social workers.
• Assists with and compiles monthly statistics and reports.
• Performs other related tasks as requested or assigned.
