Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Chicago, IL is seeking a Training & Onboarding Coordinator to manage onboarding and caregiver training across branches.

You will coordinate training sessions, process applicant documentation, and ensure a welcoming, compliant onboarding experience from applicant to active caregiver. Responsibilities include organizing trainings, maintaining accurate records, serving as the main liaison with branch leadership and client coordinators, and ensuring timely certification renewals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of client-facing experience in home care, healthcare, social services, case management, or related field.
• Customer service experience with strong communication, empathy, and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Organize, schedule, and conduct caregiver training sessions at assigned branches.
• Ensure training materials, attendance records, and program documentation are complete and compliant.
• Welcome and process all walk-in applicants.
• Enter applicant information into company systems and maintain logs.
• Serve as primary contact throughout the application and onboarding process.
• Facilitate onboarding requirements, including collection and verification of documents and credentials.
• Maintain onboarding records in electronic and physical formats.
• Monitor deadlines and communicate requirements to applicants and caregivers.
• Establish caregiver availability within AxisCare.
• Assist caregivers with mobile app installations and system access.
• Maintain logs of licenses, certifications, and credentials; coordinate renewals.
• Maintain a defined client schedule on the coordinator dashboard.
• Record client communications in the client profile for accuracy.
• Conduct weekly outreach to clients with services on hold.
• Review missed visits and schedule makeup hours.
• Close client profiles after investigations when terminating services.
• Ensure uninterrupted services for IDOA and IDHS clients.
• Begin VA client renewal processes before authorization expiry.
• Ensure completion of monthly client surveys.
• Oversee annual caregiver performance evaluations.
