Job summary

HomeWell Care Services is actively seeking compassionate CAREGIVERS to join our team in the Northwest Indiana area. You will work one‑on‑one with clients in their homes, providing non‑medical services to support aging in place with empathy and integrity.

We offer full or part‑time options, flexible schedules, and training. Benefits also include referral bonuses and a fast‑track hiring process. You’ll help improve seniors’ quality of life with dependable, respectful care.

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification required, but CNA/HHA preferred.
• Experience with dementia or Alzheimer's care a plus.
• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone.
• Pass a criminal background check (national and state requirements).
• Proof of current, negative TB test.
• Must be physically able to perform duties, including lifting ~25 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; travel up to 15 miles.
• A compassionate heart for older adults; excellent communication skills.
• Mature, caring, punctual and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Social companionship.
• Assist with daily living tasks: feeding, reminders for medications, bathing/dressing, hygiene, grooming, toileting, light housekeeping, laundry and meal prep.
• Transport clients to appointments, errands and social activities.
• Standby assistance with transfers.
• Overnight safety assistance.

Responsibilities

• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus

• Proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) test
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation in addition to proof of valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance
• Ability to travel 15 miles for any scheduled shifts
• A compassionate heart for older adults
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Are mature, caring, punctual and reliable

Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
