HomeWell Care Services in Indiana is seeking compassionate CAREGIVERS for full- or part-time, in-home non-medical care. You will work one-on-one with seniors, providing companionship and assistance to help them age in place with empathy and integrity.

Competitive pay of $15.00–$17.00 per hour, with opportunities for training, referrals, and advancement. Benefits vary by location, and a fast-track hiring process is available to qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification is required, but CNA/HHA or 6+ months caring for older adults preferred.
• Experience with dementia or Alzheimer’s care is a plus.
• Daily access to email, internet, and a mobile phone is expected.
• Must pass a national/state criminal background check.
• TB test proof of negative result required.
• Physically able to perform duties, including lifting ~25 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance; reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel 15 miles for scheduled shifts.
• Compassionate heart for older adults; excellent communication skills.
• Mature, caring, punctual and reliable.

Responsabilités

• Provide social companionship and non-medical support.
• Assist with daily living tasks (feeding, reminders, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, light housekeeping, laundry, meal prep).
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and social activities.
• Offer standby assistance with transfers and overnight safety support.

Responsibilities

• Social companionship
• Support with a variety of daily living tasks such as feeding and medication reminders, bathing/dressing and personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, light housekeeping, light cleaning, laundry and cooking/meal preparation
• Transportation to appointments, errands and social outings
• Standby assistance with transfers
• Overnight safety assistance

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification is required, but CNA, HHA, or 6 months plus caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons preferred
• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus
• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone
• Pass a criminal background check (national and any required by the state)
• Proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) test
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation in addition to proof of valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance
• Ability to travel 15 miles for any scheduled shifts
• A compassionate heart for older adults
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Are mature, caring, punctual and reliable

Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
