Job summary

HomeWell Care Services IN219 is seeking compassionate Caregivers to join our team to provide one-on-one non-medical in-home care for seniors, helping them age in place with dignity and respect.

You’ll perform daily living assistance, companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation support, with a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement in a supportive, training-focused environment.

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification required, but CNA/HHA or 6+ months caring for seniors preferred.
• Experience with dementia/Alzheimer's care is a plus.
• Daily access to email, internet, and a mobile phone.
• Criminal background check required (national and state as applicable).
• Proof of TB test (negative).
• Physically able to perform duties including lifting ~25lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Social companionship and relationship building with clients.
• Assist with daily living tasks (feeding, reminders, bathing, hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, laundry, meal prep).
• Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and social activities.

Responsibilities

With dignity, compassion, and care, your duties include, but are not limited to:

• Social companionship
• Support with a variety of daily living tasks such as feeding and medication reminders, bathing/dressing and personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, light housekeeping, light cleaning, laundry and cooking/meal preparation
• Transportation to appointments, errands and social outings
• Standby assistance with transfers
• Overnight safety assistance

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification is required, but CNA, HHA, or 6 months plus caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons preferred
• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus
• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone
• Pass a criminal background check (national and any required by the state)
• Proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) test
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation in addition to proof of valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance
• Ability to travel 15 miles for any scheduled shifts
