Job summary

HomeWell Care Services IN219 is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our team. You will work one-on-one with seniors in their homes, providing non-medical support and companionship to help them age in place with comfort and dignity.

We offer full- or part-time options, flexible schedules, and opportunities for training and advancement. A positive, empathetic approach and reliable attendance are essential, with a focus on enhancing quality of life for our clients.

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification required, CNA/HHA preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with elderly or disabled care is a plus.
• Must have good communication and reliability.
• Able to lift/pull/push up to ~25lbs.
• Must have valid driver’s license and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one in-home care with dignity and compassion.
• Assist with daily living tasks (feeding, hygiene, grooming, light housekeeping, meal prep).
• Assist with transportation to appointments and social activities.
• Provide standby assistance with transfers and overnight safety.

Responsibilities

With dignity, compassion, and care, your duties include, but are not limited to:

• Social companionship
• Support with a variety of daily living tasks such as feeding and medication reminders, bathing/dressing and personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, light housekeeping, light cleaning, laundry and cooking/meal preparation
• Transportation to appointments, errands and social outings
• Standby assistance with transfers
• Overnight safety assistance

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification is required, but CNA, HHA, or 6 months plus caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons preferred
• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus
• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone
• Pass a criminal background check (national and any required by the state)
• Proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) test
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation in addition to proof of valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance
• Ability to travel 15 miles for any scheduled shifts
