Job summary

Westmont Living, Inc. in Nipomo is seeking a compassionate CAREGIVER to support residents with daily living activities, maintain a clean, safe environment, and assist with meals and personal care.

You will follow the resident service plan, observe changes in condition, report to the supervisor, and complete screenings and background checks as required. Join a team that values training, benefits, and opportunities to grow in a caring community.

Qualifications

• Assisting residents with ADL tasks per the resident service plan.
• Maintaining a safe, clean environment for all residents.
• Observing residents for safety and reporting changes to the supervisor.
• Must obtain criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community.
• Must pass health screens such as TB, drug test, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities and mobility.
• Ensure clean, safe living areas and assist with meals.
• Follow care plans and document observations as required.

What we need from you:

• Assisting residents with ADL tasks including housekeeping tasks, making beds, serving meals, assisting with personal laundry, assisting with showers, assisting with toileting, dressing, undressing, oral care, hair care, transfers and ambulation and any other needs addressed on the resident service plan.
• Keeping environment safe and clean for all residents.
• Observing residents for safety, and report any change of condition or other pertinent information to supervisor
• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
• Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
