Job summary

Westmont Living in Pinole, CA is seeking a compassionate CAREGIVER to assist residents with daily living activities and provide a safe, caring environment. You will support with meals, personal care, laundry, mobility, and other tasks outlined in resident service plans.

Qualifications

• Assisting residents with ADL tasks including housekeeping tasks, making beds, serving meals.
• Assisting with personal laundry, showers, toileting, dressing and undressing, oral and hair care, transfers and ambulation as per plan.
• Observing residents’ safety and reporting changes to supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Provide compassionate care and support with daily living activities.
• Follow resident service plans and document observations for changes in condition.

What we need from you:

• Assisting residents with ADL tasks including housekeeping tasks, making beds, serving meals,
  • assisting with personal laundry, assisting with showers, assisting with toileting, dressing,
  • undressing, oral care, hair care, transfers and ambulation and any other needs addressed on the resident service plan.
• Keeping environment safe and clean for all residents.
• Observing residents for safety, and report any change of condition or other pertinent

information to supervisor

• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
• Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
