Job summary

Westmont Living, Inc. is seeking a compassionate CAREGIVER for AM/PM shifts at Westmont of Encinitas. You will help residents with daily activities, meals, mobility, and personal care in a supportive, homelike setting.

The role includes maintaining safety, cleanliness, and reporting changes to supervision. Training is provided, and benefits start after a 30-day wait, with opportunities such as daily pay and 401K matching.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting residents with ADL tasks.
• Ability to keep residents safe and clean in a communal setting.
• Capable of following care plans and reporting changes.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADL tasks including housekeeping, making beds, serving meals.
• Assist with personal laundry, showers, toileting, dressing and transfers as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and report changes to supervisor.

What we need from you:

• Assisting residents with ADL tasks including housekeeping tasks, making beds, serving meals,
  
  
  • assisting with personal laundry, assisting with showers, assisting with toileting, dressing,
  
  
  • undressing, oral care, hair care, transfers and ambulation and any other needs addressed on the resident service plan.
  
  


• Keeping environment safe and clean for all residents.


• Observing residents for safety, and report any change of condition or other pertinent

information to supervisor

• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community


• Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test


• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
