Job summary

Companions & Homemakers in Connecticut is hiring caregivers to provide non-medical home care across multiple service areas. You will follow each client's Plan of Care, assist with daily living tasks, transportation, light housekeeping, and companionship.

We offer flexible shifts (Weekdays, Weekends, Overnights, Live-In), competitive hourly pay with direct deposit, PTO, holiday pay, benefits, and ongoing training. A valid driver's license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
