Job summary

Companions & Homemakers is hiring caregivers to serve clients across Connecticut. Flexible scheduling includes Weekdays, Weekends, Overnights, and Live-In shifts with a competitive hourly rate, direct deposit, and referral bonuses.

As a caregiver you will provide non-medical home care, transport clients to appointments, assist with daily living activities, and offer companionship. A valid driver's license, background check, and High School Diploma or GED are required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver or in home care is a plus.
• Open availability preferred.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle required.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence — offer companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.

Your Day-to-Day

• Transport clients to appointments and activities

What You'll Need
