Job summary

Trustwell Living is hiring caregivers to join our incredible and passionate care team in Eugene, Oregon. The role offers a pay rate of $18.00 to $20.00 per hour with a day shift from 6:00 a.m.

to 2:00 p.m., and the chance to contribute to person-centered, home-like resident care. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, state-specific certification if required, and be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• State-specific certification is required where applicable.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and convey a philosophy of supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice and a home-like environment for residents.
• Assist with ADLs and environmental orientation; encourage self-care and independence.
• Provide services as indicated on resident service plans (bathing, toileting, transfers, mobility).
• Build relationships with residents in the community.

• Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
• Shift: Day 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

As a Caregiver at Trustwell Living, your responsibilities will include:

• Adhere to and convey a philosophy of supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.
• Assist with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, and assistance with other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Provide services as indicated on resident service plans, including but not limited to bathing assistance, toileting assistance, transfer, and mobility assistance.
• Build relationships with the amazing people who live in our community.

The ideal candidate will:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of the current state-specific certification, where required.
• Be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification
• Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment
• Must be available some weekends and holidays*
