Job summary

Trustwell Living at Astor Place in Oregon is seeking a Caregiver to support residents with dignity and independence in a home-like environment. The role focuses on ADLs, mobility, bathing, toileting, and working from resident service plans.

We offer pay of $19.00–$23.00 per hour, full medical benefits for all full- and part-time staff, a 401K match, substantial paid time off, and opportunities for advancement within a growing company. Weekend and holiday availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of current state-specific caregiver certification where required.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and convey a philosophy of supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.
• Assist with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, and assistance with other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Provide services as indicated on resident service plans, including bathing, toileting, transfer and mobility assistance.
• Build relationships with the amazing people who live in our community.

As a Caregiver at Trustwell Living, your responsibilities will include:

• Adhere to and convey a philosophy of supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.
• Assist with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, and assistance with other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Provide services as indicated on resident service plans, including but not limited to bathing assistance, toileting assistance, transfer, and mobility assistance.
• Build relationships with the amazing people who live in our community.

The ideal candidate will:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of the current state-specific certification, where required.
• Be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification
• Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment
• Must be available some weekends and holidays*
