Job summary

Companions & Homemakers, Inc. is hiring in Connecticut to provide non-medical home care with a focus on companionship and patient-centered support. The role includes transporting clients, assisting with daily tasks, and delivering care following individualized care plans.

You will work in flexible shifts across weekdays, weekends, overnights, and live-in opportunities. The company emphasizes ongoing training, benefits, and a supportive caregiver community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
