Job summary

Companions & Homemakers in Connecticut is looking for compassionate caregivers to join a flexible, in-home care team. You’ll provide non-medical support, transportation, light housekeeping, and companionship to clients across multiple CT service areas.

Competitive hourly pay with direct deposit, paid time off, holiday pay, and benefits are offered. Flexible scheduling includes weekdays, weekends, overnights, and live-in shifts, plus ongoing training and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence — companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
