Job summary

We Care Senior Care, a Home Instead franchise, is seeking compassionate caregivers to help seniors remain safe and cared for in their homes. The role centers on personal care, companionship, and assisting with daily activities, with 12 hour shifts and full-time hours available immediately.

Qualifications

• Heart of an in-home caregiver with strong communication skills.
• Experience in caregiving, assisted living, or similar settings is beneficial.
• CNA, home health aide or resident assistant experience is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and medication reminders
• Provide toileting and incontinence care
• Provide meaningful companionship and emotional support
• Prepare meals, perform light housekeeping, and assist with errands
• Support client safety, well-being, and report changes to the care team
• Support clients with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other cognitive conditions
• Build trusted relationships with clients and their families
