Job summary

Career Partners International, a division of Ascend Staffing, seeks a Career Transition / Outplacement Services Sales Manager to drive new business growth in Houston and Dallas. You will generate leads, build relationships with HR leaders, and close accounts for outplacement, career transition, recruiting, and staffing solutions.

The role emphasizes consultative selling, trust-building with HR, and increasing gross profit through new client revenue and repeat business.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of B2B corporate sales experience, preferably in HR or staffing.
• Experience with outplacement, HR consulting, workforce solutions, or talent solutions is a strong plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organization and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Solid networking and business development capabilities; self-motivated with outbound prospecting.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new business opportunities in HR, talent acquisition, and related sectors to increase gross profit.
• Set qualified appointments with prospective clients in assigned territories.
• Drive gross profit growth through discovery, proposals, negotiations, and closing new accounts.
• Conduct outbound outreach via email, calls, LinkedIn, networking, and events to build a sales pipeline.
• Present outplacement, recruiting, and staffing solutions tailored to client needs.
• Lead discovery calls, product demos, and proposal meetings.
• Collaborate with marketing to execute lead generation campaigns.
• Maintain CRM records including leads, notes, activity, and meetings.
• Track weekly activity and meet or exceed sales targets; build long-term client relationships.
