Job summary

Carrington College is seeking a Career Services professional who will support students and graduates in obtaining employment under the leadership team's guidance. The role focuses on Employment, Externship/Certification Tracking, and Career Services Skill Development to connect students with employers.

You will conduct employer calls and site visits, manage externships, help with resumes and interview prep, and coach students in job-search strategies.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree is required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Three years of job development, career services, or agency recruiting experience.
• Degrees from U.S. accrediting agencies preferred; non-U.S. degrees recognized only if equivalence established.
• Ability to read, write, and present information to students, employees, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Conducts employer and job development activities including employer calls and site visits.
• Meets and exceeds daily, weekly, and modular activity goals to achieve employment start outcomes.
• Maintains relationships with students and graduates to connect with employers.
• Attends business functions, trade shows, and professional organization meetings for networking and employer development.
• Coordinates externship opportunities and supervises externship processes.
• Provides resumes, job search strategies, and interview coaching.
