Qualifications

• Proficient in the effective use of technology.
• Physical capacity to meet the needs of students with physical disabilities.
• Ability to collaborate with staff to align curriculum and transition planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet district requirements with written preparation evidence.
• Prepare lessons with accommodations and modifications per IEP.
• Evaluate and document student work-related behaviors and use of accommodations.
• Recommend appropriate IEP goals based on data for work-skill sets.
• Follow instructional objectives based on student assessment including transition assessment.
• Provide employability skills instruction and research career interests.
• Systematically collect data to assess work readiness and preferences.
• Support student self-determination and self-advocacy skills.
• Monitor progress toward mastery of work-based learning goals in IEP.
• Be a positive role model and support district mission.
• Provide transition assessments to develop postsecondary goals.
• Assist with adaptations for students with disabilities.
