Job summary

Spring Branch Independent School District seeks a Special Education Teacher - Resource to deliver specialized instruction to students with disabilities. You will create compliant lesson plans, implement accommodations, and monitor progress per IEPs.

You’ll collaborate with parents and campus staff to support student growth and participate in required meetings. The role requires a valid Texas teaching certificate (or out-of-state equivalent), a special education certificate, ESL certification

Qualifications

• Special education knowledge applicable to resource settings.
• Ability to document and report individual student needs.
• Familiar with IEP processes and accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum.
• Identify/evaluate learner competencies and set goals.
• Assist in writing students' IEPs and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with parents and school staff for learner needs.
• Maintain records and participate in staff meetings.
