Job summary

Spring Branch Independent School District seeks a Special Education Campus IEP Specialist to coordinate special education programs and lead ARD processes. You will work with teachers, administrators and families to ensure compliant, effective supports for students with disabilities.

The role requires a Master’s degree or higher, Texas certification or eligible out-of-state certification, and related licensure.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Valid Texas Teacher Certificate or out-of-state certificate appropriate for position preferred.
• Texas supervisor/mid-management/principal certification or related licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate special education programs and ARD process.
• Collaborate with general and special education staff, administrators and parents.
• Provide technical assistance to instructional staff regarding accommodations and modifications.
• Chair ARD meetings and provide staff development on special education requirements.
• Perform assessment-related functions as part of the ARD process.
