Job summary

Goodwill Southeast Georgia seeks a Career Advancement Navigator to deliver intensive career coaching, case management, and workforce development services. The role focuses on participants moving from jobs to careers through credentials, education, and leadership readiness.

Responsibilities include managing a focused caseload, developing advancement plans, and coordinating with employers and educational partners to create growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in human services, Workforce Development, Education, Business, Social Work, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience in case management, workforce development, career coaching, education, vocational rehabilitation, employment services, human services, or a related field.
• Experience facilitating workshops, coaching sessions, or workforce development activities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive career coaching and case management to participants.
• Develop and monitor individualized Career Advancement Plans.
• Support participants pursuing credentials, training, and education opportunities.
• Maintain regular progress reviews and contact with participants.
• Collaborate with employers, educational partners, and community organizations to support advancement.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Associate or bachelor’s degree in human services

Minimum of three years of experience in case management

Experience with individuals facing barriers and developing service plans
