Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is hiring a Career Navigator II to help program participants advance economically. You will develop personalized career plans, set education and employment goals, and collaborate with community partners to expand opportunities.

You will use databases to track plans, assist with resumes and LinkedIn profiles, and participate in job fairs to connect clients with resources and referrals. Strong communication and multitasking are essential.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines.
• Understanding of confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.

Aufgaben

• Develops career plans and sets goals around education, training, employment, and resources.
• Interacts with program participants at events and in the community to promote mobility.
• Inputs career plans and data into organizational databases.
• Assists with career portfolios (resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles).
• Participates in community outreach events such as job fairs to connect participants with resources.
• Provides referrals to other resources and organizations.
