Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Arkansas is seeking a Career Coach Specialist to assist employees and clients with intake, assessments, vocational guidance, and placement support across our Goodwill ACE culture. You will work to empower individuals to overcome barriers and achieve independence in a supportive environment.

You will build individualized service plans, coordinate with employers, provide work readiness training, and help navigate resources.

Qualifications

• Experience in employment, vocational rehabilitation, or transitional employment preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills required.
• Ability to work with individuals with barriers to employment and privacy considerations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with CRM software helpful.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate or provide career coaching and guidance to employees and clients.
• Develop Individualized Service Plans addressing career and education goals.
• Build relationships with employers and community partners to promote placement.
• Conduct work readiness training in one-on-one and group settings.
• Coordinate onboarding for new GIA employees with site leadership.
• Maintain accurate client documentation in compliance with state/federal guidelines.
