Job summary

Integrated Life Choices is seeking compassionate Employment Support Providers in Longmont, CO to guide adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities toward competitive, integrated employment. You will conduct career profiles, develop workplace readiness skills, and partner with local employers to create meaningful match.

You will assist with resumes, applications, interview prep, and job search while promoting independence and informed choice.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• ACRE Training provided within first year of hire.
• Preference for experience with developmental disabilities.
• Ability to interpret procedures, instructions and detailed material.
• Flexibility, patience and advocacy in challenging situations.
• Willingness to follow policies, procedures and build person-centered supports.
• Complete and pass required registry and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Create person-centered career profiles to identify strengths and goals.
• Help individuals develop workplace readiness skills (communication, professionalism, time management, self-advocacy).
• Promote independence and informed choice in employment planning and search.
• Assist with career exploration, resumes, applications and interview prep.
• Develop relationships with local employers for integrated employment opportunities.
• Match job seekers to roles aligned with abilities and preferences.
• Advocate for inclusive hiring practices and educate employers.
• Arrange job tours, informational interviews and networking activities.
• Provide transportation to interviews or assist with arranging transport.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports as required.
• Engage with community events to expand opportunities.
