Job summary

Integrated Resource Institute is seeking an Employment Coach to mentor and support individuals with developmental disabilities in Orange County. You will assist with job development, resume and interview practice, transportation support, and community access to improve employment outcomes.

The role emphasizes PBIS-guided strategies, person-centered planning, and building strong relationships with the individuals served and employers.

Qualifications

• Two years of college or equivalent experience preferred but not required.
• Job development and on-the-job support experience preferred but not required.
• Experience supporting people with disabilities preferably in community integrated settings.
• Strong organization, communication and writing skills; proficient with computers and online platforms.

Responsibilities

• Understand and practice IRI’s mission and values.
• Demonstrate respectful interaction with IRI persons served and stakeholders.
• Develop integrated work schedules and placement in meaningful settings.
• Collaborate with circle of support to create customized employment activities.
• Maintain documentation and coordinate with supervisor and leaders.
