Job summary

EDSI is seeking a Welcome Center Navigator in Manchester, CT to greet customers and guide them toward employment plans. You will ensure profiles are complete, help determine the best enrollment or referral path, and support intake processes within the American Job Center.

You will document interactions, assist with the Call Center, and contribute to meeting enrollment and outreach goals while maintaining high standards of customer service and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills both in-person and on the phone.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• Ability to de-escalate tense situations and maintain composure.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they arrive at the Welcome Center.
• Ensure customer Profiles are complete in the system of record.
• Assist with identifying employment goals and enrollment options.
• Support intake processes and document referrals in the system.
• Provide data entry and update records; track interactions.
• Present WIOA Information Sessions and support enrollment goals.
• Coordinate with Navigation Manager to meet outreach targets.
