Job summary

Educational Data Systems, Inc. (EDSI) is hiring to support workforce development programs in the United States.

The role focuses on delivering customer-centered services to jobseekers, determining eligibility, and developing individual employment plans in collaboration with the Business Services Team. Responsibilities include managing a caseload of participants, conducting staff-assisted job searches, and maintaining compliance with data entry and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience providing excellent service to jobseekers and employers.
• Experience working with unemployed, underemployed, displaced workers, noncustodial parents, ex-offenders, veterans, or other economically-disadvantaged populations.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and document all aspects of services provided.
• Demonstrated communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide information about CareerLink services and partner agencies to jobseekers.
• Complete eligibility determinations for individuals seeking services.
• Create individual employment plans for individuals seeking services.
• Maintain a caseload of 50-75 Title I program participants.
• Refer to financial navigator and community resources as appropriate.
• Provide staff-assisted job search services, including career guidance and labor market information.
• Administer suitability assessments for training opportunities.
• Complete necessary WIOA data entry requirements on CWDS.
• Maintain participant files per regulations and guidelines.
• Provide follow-up activities according to program guidelines.
• Represent EDSI on committees and workgroups.
