Job summary

Career Team Enterprises is seeking a Career Advisor to provide career counseling, intensive case management, and follow-up services onsite in McKinney, Texas. The role reports to the Executive Director and requires working onsite at the listed location.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or higher, strong communication, and MS Word/Excel proficiency, with the ability to handle confidential information in a fast-paced environment. Travel up to 30% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong communication and knowledge of community resources.
• Ability to work with MS Word and Excel and learn specialized databases.

Responsibilities

• Provide information and case management services to the community and eligible participants.
• Collaborate with Intake Specialist to complete intake and eligibility determinations.
• Assess jobseekers’ employment needs through interviewing, testing, and other methods.
• Liaise between workforce programs and community partners.
• Guide job seekers through individual employment plans based on goals.
