Job summary

WelbeHealth is seeking a Scheduling Specialist to coordinate participant appointment scheduling and manage staff availability within our PACE program. You will handle cancellations and rescheduling, respond to calls and emails, and keep all stakeholders informed to ensure timely care delivery.

Qualifications

Healthcare scheduling experience preferred; PACE experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the scheduling of participant appointments and manage availability in source systems.
Troubleshoot conflicts and urgent needs, communicating with staff, families, and providers to meet turnaround times.
Process cancellation and rescheduling requests from staff and participants and notify all parties of changes.
Respond to scheduling requests via phone, email, and other channels as they come in.
Update team member availability to ensure accurate information across systems.
Communicate appointment confirmations and reminders per department protocols.
