Job summary

TCC is seeking a Staff Development Specialist to design, develop, and deliver high-quality training content for Care Management staff, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational goals.

The role involves scheduling, presenting training, translating complex policies into engaging materials, and measuring effectiveness through post-training assessments, with potential travel to TCC offices.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting training.
• Experience with training development.
• Experience with OPWDD training requirements, preferred.
• Bachelor's degree with preference for two years of relevant experience, OR Master's degree with one year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver training content and learning resources.
• Facilitate scheduling, preparation and presentation of training materials.
• Translate complex workflows and policies into clear training content.
• Develop post-training knowledge checks and follow-up actions.
• Participate in external meetings and mandatory staff meetings.
• Provide mentoring and support to staff as needed.
• Maintain calendars and manage inquiries in a timely manner.
• Assist with content maintenance in SharePoint and other systems.
• Occasionally travel to TCC offices for live training.
